The sales and delivery conditions apply to all sales of products and services from www.origoforlag.no to consumers. The terms of sale together with your order, confirmed through an order confirmation, form the overall contractual basis for the purchase.
Consumer purchases are regulated in, among other things, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Cancellation Act, the Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act, the E-commerce Act and the Credit Purchase Act.

Where there is a requirement in these terms of sale to be in writing, this is fulfilled by using e-mail.
1. Parties
The seller is Origo Forlag AS (reg. no.: 916 795 42,1 and is referred to hereafter as ‘we’ or ‘us’. The buyer is: the person stated as the buyer in the order, and is hereafter referred to as “you”, “you”, “your” or “your”.
2. Order and agreement process
Your order is binding when the order is registered in our system. We are also bound by your order if it does not deviate from what is offered by us in our online store, our marketing or otherwise. You still have the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Act on the right of cancellation, see point 10 of the agreement. When we receive your order, we confirm the order and automatically send you an order confirmation. Read the order confirmation carefully when you receive it and check whether the order confirmation corresponds to the order. Exceptions may occur, see section 3.
3. Information provided in the online store
We strive to provide our customers with as correct information about our products as possible. We reserve the right, however, that typing or printing errors may occur, which may result in us not being able to deliver according to information provided in our online store, our marketing or otherwise. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order or parts of it, if the product is sold out. If the product is sold out, you will be notified of this, possibly together with information about what we can offer instead. You will have the option to accept our new offer with the changes we specify in relation to your order, or cancel the order.
4. Prices
All prices include VAT. The total cost of the purchase will be stated before the final order and includes all expenses related to the purchase such as expenses for postage and packaging.
We reserve the right to change prices as a result of external factors.
5. Payment
The seller can demand payment for the item from the time it has been sent from the seller to the buyer.
If the buyer uses a credit or debit card for payment, the seller can reserve the purchase price on the card when ordering. The card is charged on the same day the item is sent.
6. Delivery and delay
Orders are normally processed within 3 to 5 working days.
Delivery of the products takes place in that way, at the place and time indicated on the order confirmation. We bear the risk for the products until they are taken over by you, i.e. when you have received the products in your possession. If the delivery of the products is delayed, we will provide you with information as soon as we are aware of it, together with information about and possibly when delivery can take place, or if the product(s) are sold out. Depending on the nature of the products and the length of the delay, you can, depending on the circumstances, withhold the purchase price or terminate the agreement.
7. Examination of the products
After you have received the products, you should, as soon as you have the opportunity to do so, check whether the delivery is in accordance with the order confirmation, whether the products have been damaged during transport, or whether the products are otherwise faulty or missing.
8. Your rights in the event of errors and omissions (complaint)
If the products are faulty or missing, you can, depending on the circumstances, demand rectification of the fault, redelivery, price reduction, compensation or cancellation of the purchase.
9. Warranty
Our guarantees do not imply any restrictions on the appeal period for goods in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act.
10 . The Right of Cancellation Act and the Consumer Purchase Act
At origoforlag.no, both the Consumer Purchase Act and the Right of Cancellation Act apply. This means that if there is a fault with the item or you regret a purchase, you can return the item within 14 days at our delivery points or by post. If you wish to return, you must fill in the right of withdrawal form which you will find in the order confirmation, or from the link at the bottom of this page. You should also contact us in advance so that we can send you a return label. You then avoid paying return postage yourself if the return is due to a complaint. You must cover the postage yourself if you make use of the right of cancellation.
For the right of withdrawal to apply, the product must be delivered to us in the same condition as you received it.
We are obliged to pay you back what you have paid for the item. Refunds must be made within 30 days after we receive the product from you or a collection slip or the product is made available to us.
The product is sent back to us, if possible in the original packaging.
11. Unclaimed packages
In the case of undelivered packages, the customer will be charged a fee of NOK 400 (320 ex VAT) to cover our costs in connection with packing, shipping and administration.
12. Personal data
We basically only process personal data that you provide to us and that is necessary to deliver the goods to you. If you have questions about personal data relating to you or wish to make use of your rights to rectification, blocking, deletion etc. according to the Personal Data Act, you can contact us by e-mail.
You can at any time ask us to delete the personal data Origo Forlag has linked to you. You do this by contacting customer service from your registered e-mail address or from a telephone number linked to your account.
13. Use of cookies
Like most websites, origoforlag.no uses cookies to give you as a user access to functionalities and services that require this. A cookie is stored as a small file on your computer. Soft cookies/cookies are used to keep track of what you do when shopping, i.e. which books you put in the shopping basket, the number and the like. These are not saved and deleted when you leave origoforlag.no. Hard cookies enable us to recognize you the next time you visit our pages. Then we can present news and offers that are new since you last visited origaforlag.no. These are saved as a small file on your computer.
If you do not wish to have access to these services, you can set your browser so that it does not accept hard cookies. Through the browser, you can also delete all stored cookies.
14. Disputes
The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, you can bring the matter before the Consumer Council near where you live. All disputes must be resolved in accordance with Norwegian law.
